National shortage of tuberculosis medication

Guam - Due to a national shortage of INH, the Department of Public Health and Social Services will only administer the meds for treatment of patients with active tuberculosis. INH is one of the most important anti-TB meds used to treat active and inactive TB.

Public Health will continue TB clearances for school and work purposes for clients who show no symptoms and have normal chest rays.
